Tale
Men and women live in a giant silo underground with various regulations they believe are in place to protect them from the toxic, crumbling world above. Whether they’re exploring the stars, escaping dystopias, or making the world a better place, these women are what sci-fi is all about. The fans on the ground in several episodes spin in the wrong direction, as far as blade orientation.
It’s blatantly obvious
Spinning this way doesn’t push or pull air. Featured on WatchMojo: Top 10 TV Shows of 2023 You Should Binge-Watch (2023) To be honest, I thought the first season was slow, but now the second season is glacial. I don’t need to be repeatedly told the sociopolitical outcomes of these people’s actions.
Does anyone remember Snowpiercer?
I’m waiting for the series to catch up with me at this point, and no, I haven’t read the books, but I have read and watched hundreds of versions of this story. It’s just the latest in a long line of this sort of thing, and most humans behave this way in certain situations. Take Agatha Christie and Isaac Asimov, for example, who both knew this all too well.
Why are so many series at this snail’s pace now?
We’re becoming extremely predictable, and I feel like every scene is on an endless loop of “one more time for dummies.” I can say the dialogue before the characters do at this point. Who is this demographic they’re looking to entertain that can’t keep up with what’s happening and its implications? If it doesn’t budge, I’ll have to call it quits. Boredomfest.
