As the world teeters on the brink of annihilation, Dietrich Bonhoeffer joins a deadly plot to assassinate Hitler, risking his faith and fate to save millions of Jews from genocide. Reasoning is of no use

Neither protest nor force can touch it. Facts that contradict personal prejudices can simply be disbelieved, indeed, the fool can counter with criticism, and if they are undeniable, they can simply be ignored as trivial exceptions. This movie was a bit stressful for me, but I get stressed by action thrillers, not to mention real scary movies.

Even when you think you’re outnumbered

I mean, Nazi war movies can be brutal, but this one wasn’t too graphic. Anyway, you know how the story ends, but the take-home message is great. Which is to stand up for what you believe is right and don’t let anyone silence you or pressure you to stay quiet.

You won’t regret it

It’s a great message and therefore a great movie. Bonhoeffer was a very brave guy and I was so intrigued by his story that I looked it up online on the way home from the movie. He was amazing, a true role model for those who are afraid to speak up for the truth.
